RotStop – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RotStop mobile application (“RotStop”, the “App”) and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using RotStop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use RotStop.
• By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Purpose of the App (Not Medical or Mental Health Advice)

RotStop is a self‑tracking and productivity tool designed to help you better understand and manage your own habits, including screen time and other high‑dopamine behaviours.

• RotStop does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
• RotStop is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or addiction treatment.
• Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for any health or mental health concerns.

You use the App at your own discretion and risk.

3. Screen Time and Device Usage Data

RotStop may integrate with Apple’s Screen Time APIs and similar platform services to access your own device usage data (such as time spent in certain apps) with your explicit permission.

• This access is opt‑in and requires your authorization.
• RotStop uses this data solely to calculate and display your personal “rot” score, streaks, and related insights within the App.
