RotStop is designed as a personal self‑tracking and productivity tool. We aim to collect only the minimum information needed to provide the Service.

• Manual Logs & Inputs

  Activities you log in the App (for example, “hits” like app usage, junk food, NSFW, or “anti‑hits” like walks, meditation, reading, deep work) and any notes or tags you choose to enter.

• Basic Account / Subscription Info

  If applicable, information related to your subscription as provided by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (for example, subscription status, product identifiers). We do not receive your full payment card details.

1.2 Device and Usage Data

• Screen Time / Device Usage Data (iOS)

  If you grant permission, RotStop may access your personal Screen Time / Device Activity data via Apple’s Screen Time APIs to read your own app usage durations (for example, time spent in TikTok, Instagram, etc.). This is used solely to calculate and display your personal “rot” scores, streaks, and related insights.

• Technical Data

  Basic technical information such as:

  • Device type and OS version
  • App version
  • Anonymous crash logs and performance data

This helps us maintain and improve the App’s stability and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the core App features (logging, scoring, streaks, and visualizations).
• Show you insights about your usage, dopamine “rot scores”, and trends over time.
